and fishing. These waters shall be suitable for fish propagation and survival.

Class SC Saline Surface Waters.
The best usage of Class SC waters is fishing. These waters shall be suitable
for fish propagation and survival. The water quality shall be suitable
for primary and secondary contact recreation, although other factors may
limit the use of these purposes.

Class I Saline Surface Water
The best usages of Class I waters are secondary contact recreation and
fishing. These waters shall be suitable for fish propagation and survival.

Class SD Saline Surface Waters.
The best usage of Class SD waters is fishing. These waters shall be suitable
for fish survival. This Classification may be given to those waters that,
because of natural or man-made conditions, cannot meet the requirements
for primary and secondary contact recreation and fish propagation.

determined by the commissioner in accordance with the considerations prescribed
by the Environmental Conservation Law.

"Pathogenic
organism"
Means any disease-producing organism.
"Primary
Contact Recreation"
Means recreational activities where the human body may come
in direct contact with raw water to the point of complete body submergence.
Primary contact recreation includes, but is not limited to, swimming,
diving, water skiing, skin diving and surfing.
"Secondary
Contact Recreation"
Means recreational activities where contact with the water
is minimal and where ingestion of the water is not probable. Secondary
contact recreation includes, but is not limited to, fishing and boating.
