The evaluation and verification of treatment technology options for water, wastewater,
groundwater,
soil and sediment provides a sound basis for solutions that can proceed forward
with confidence. By employing engineering principles and scientific methods,
our staff routinely designs, builds, and operates laboratory bench-scale
and
on-site pilot-scale processes.
HydroQual has developed and implemented testing protocols for a wide variety of environmental systems. For example, HydroQual has run extensive performance verification studies of UV disinfection technologies under the USEPA’s Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) program. The firm applies this extensive process expertise to assess the effectiveness of treatment technologies. HydroQual has conducted large scale innovative technology demonstration projects for various aerobic and anaerobic treatment processes, UV radiation, filtration, chemical oxidation, and adsorption, among others. The firm has designed, built and tested mobile water treatment systems for oil and grease, metals and PCBs.
