- Is this the latest version of ECOMSED?
Yes, the latest version of ECOMSED is currently available for download. To download ECOMSED, please register here. Once you have received your login name and password, login here.
- What platforms can ECOMSED be run on?
ECOMSED can be run on UNIX platforms from all major vendors, the PC running LINUX, and PC running WINDOWS. The Makefiles provided with the source code are for the UNIX/SGI and LINUX/INTEL operating systems. For the Windows platform, a suitable FORTRAN compiler should be used (it has been tested using Compaq Visual Fortran, release 6.1).
- Can ECOMSED be applied to lakes?
ECOMSED can be applied to lakes, rivers, estuaries, bays and ocean systems.
- How do I communicate problems, report a bug, or provide feedback?

- Can I use netCDF format?
Yes. To use the netCDF format for ECOMSED output files, please replace the subroutines
included in 'ecomsed_cdf.zip'. Please make sure to build netCDF library files on your system before you compile the codes.
