HydroQual, Inc.

HydroQual was listed in the Top 200 Environmental Firms by Engineering News Record magazine. HydroQual is listed as number 188 in the Top 200 list in the June 4, 2001 issue. ENR states that "companies are ranked .. based on gross revenue they reported in 2000 for providing environmental services and products to domestic and international markets."  This is the third year in a row that HydroQual has been listed.
 
HydroQual recently received an award from the Association of Environmental Authorities (AEA) in New Jersey for assisting in the review of the proposed Mega-Rule. HydroQual had assisted the AEA in developing detailed comments for submission to the State.

Dominic M. Di Toro, Ph.D.

Dominic M. Di Toro, Ph.D. is the first holder of the Donald J. O'Connor Endowed Faculty Chair at Manhattan College in September 1999. Dr. O'Connor, cofounder of HydroQual, was a distinguished professor of environmental engineering and science at Manhattan College and a leading expert in the field of water pollution control who passed away in April 1997.
 
Dominic M. Di Toro, Ph.D. received the Founders Award at the 1998 Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) conference in San Francisco. This award is SETAC's highest and is presented annually to the person whose outstanding career has made clearly identifiable contributions in the environmental sciences.

Danielle Hartman's online GIS work on the award winning iBrooklyn website has been acknowledged in a new publication GIS Means Business Volume Two by David Boyles from ESRI Press.
 
Danielle Hartman is managing the iBrooklyn website that won the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Awards for Communications Excellence (ACE).
