Existing Water Quality:


Dissolved oxygen levels are not in compliance with standards. Coliform levels are in compliance with standards (Outer Harbor CSO Facility Plan, 1993). Settleable solids and floatables are discharged by CSOs

Commercial Shipping, Swimming, Recreational Boating and Fishing

CSO, stormwater and other runoff, WPCPs, Impact of Jamaica Bay, Raritan Bay, Coney Island Creek, and Upper Bay water quality
