The New York City Department of Environmental Protection's (DEP) Use and Standards Attainment Project (USA Project) is a unique opportunity for New Yorkers to work with City Government and help with the development of a plan which will further ensure the preservation and protection of New York's water environment both now and in the future.

Because the role of the public is so critical to the success of this program, this project web site has been created to facilitate communications between all project participants. The web site will keep participants up to date on all aspects of the progress of the project, let stakeholders know how work is proceeding in their communities, and serve as a means for soliciting input not only from the primary participants, but other segments of the New York public as well.
