The creek is approximately 1.6 miles long and ranges in width from approximately 50 to 3,300 feet, draining to Gravesend Bay. Water depths range from one to 26 feet at its junction with Gravesend Bay, however, at low tide the extreme head of the creek is routinely dry with exposed creek bed.
