Joseph G. Cleary receives Heukelekian Award

Joseph G. Cleary, PE, a Principal at HydroQual and a leader of the Process and Design Engineering Practice, received the HEUKELEKIAN AWARD from the New Jersey Water Environment Association at their 2009 Annual Conference. This Award is presented for the most outstanding contributions on any aspect of Industrial Waste Control. H. Heukelekian was a well known early 20^th century scientist from Rutgers University’s Department of Soil Chemistry and Bacteriology and the New Jersey Agricultural Experimental Stations. H. Heukelekian pioneered the technology of aerobic and anaerobic decomposition of sewage solids.
